Quintessentially an Amontillado lengthener that emphasizes quality and minerality.

  • 1.5 oz Lustau Los Arcos Amontillado

  • .5 oz Speyside Scotch (Macallan 15)

  • 1.5 oz Sancerre

  • 1.5 oz sparkling mineral water

  • 3 barspoons Luxardo/Citrus Creme*


  1. Carefully pour Amontillado and Scotch into the Collins glass.

  2. Use tongs to place 6 ice cubes in Collins glass.

  3. Use a barspoon to hold the ice to one side as you pour the Sancerre, then sparkling mineral water avoiding the sides of the glass. 

  4. Then, use a barspoon to place 3 heaping barspoons of maraschino/citrus creme on top of the cocktail. Serve on a light-colored linen coaster.

*For the Creme: .75 luxardo, .5 lemon, 4oz creme
Combine in a boston shaker and shake for 45 seconds. Lasts 24 hours.
